katie came up this past week to visit and we decided to plant some flowers to beautify the balcony of my apartment. it was a lot of fun and the end result was gorgeous…

the flowers on the bottom right were changed out to go along with the flowers on the bottom left…so everything would “match” and coordinate.

these gerber daisies are my absolute favorite flowers. chris never does wrong to buy me these beautiful flowers. i love when i get them “just because” and now i can look out my balcony window and enjoy them every day.

molly went to the beauty salon for a trim…she was getting a little wild! i was nervous about her going to get her haircut since they butchered macy’s hair the last time, but molly’s hair turned out just fine and made her look soooo cute! see…

i went out to visit my bestest friend sarah out in San Francisco who is spending three months there for travel nursing (jealous)…her and i and 2 of our other friends went out to san fran last november for vacation and now sarah lives there…pretty cool. it was nice to go back and see and visit some of my favorite places. we started out walking the hilly streets to shop, of course, and then that night we went out to eat at this AMAZING asian resturant (T.D.F.) and then hit our fav jazz club to have some drinks. the jazz music wasn’t all that grand but we did witness a police take-down right in front of the jazz club (gotta love bigger cities than dallas)…a guy was running down the sidewalk and a cop was chasing him on foot as well as two cop cars…there was a lot of squealing tires and then some cop flew out of the car and practically flipped the “bad” guy in the air for a tackle…then we saw a S.W.A.T. van pull up to the scene…that’s all we witnessed but it was some excititing stuff! the next day we swung by salsilito to get some coffee and then off to napa valley baby! oh but…we had to get lost for 3 hours…FUN STUFF! we did however get the best wine in the world at sterling winery and then stopped off at the beringer winery for some port wine and chocolate tasting…yum! we had to go fast b/c we had to be back in san fran for our alcotraz NIGHT tour…oooooooh…spooky! i love alcotraz! the night tour was fun and eery…we got to visit the hospital at alcotraz this time and it was very interesting and different. (you’ll have to ask me for some specifics if you are intrigued) i had to leave the next day and i was sad to go but happy to be home.

oh yeah i was an idiot and wore the worst shoes possible for the hills of san fran and didn’t bring back up…i paid the consequences for sure!!! ask sarah!

well this was interesting..the first time i bathed her i did it in the bathtub but soon realized this was not the place to bathe such a small puppy. she sprawled out all four of her appendages and tried to fly away like a flying squirell. her claws hadn’t been trimmed yet and i had quite a few scratches on my legs. but she looked so pretty and white afterwards. so the next time it was bath time we used the kitchen sink.
